Josh Cargill is a Northern Irish musician who has recently graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

He began his musical journey with his local youth brass band in Belfast, where he was given a bass trombone. Josh quickly developed an interest in various musical styles, playing in orchestras, jazz groups, chamber music ensembles, as well as the brass band.

Now based in Manchester, Josh enjoys a varied freelance career, performing with many ensembles across the UK and internationally. He is also dedicated to inspiring and teaching young aspiring musicians through his educational work.​
